October Newsletter!

I don't even want to say October yet!  How did we get here?
However, I do know this is the month of Thanksgiving and I have so very much to be thankful for!  I look forward to gatherings of seeing my family and eating pumpkin pie (my mother-in-law makes the ABSOLUTE BEST pumpkin pie around!)
I love hearing what you are all thankful for!

Classic Impressions had some exciting news in September!
Our stylist, Anja, became engaged to her boyfriend Willi!

​  We are so excited for her and wish her and Willi the best as they plan a wedding for next year!

You may already be thinking about scheduling your hair appointments from now till Christmas.  We have many friends that have done that.  Let's get your appointments in place so that the time before Christmas can be stress free when it comes to booking your hair appointments.  
Also, something to look for -- Keeleigh will be coming back to work for the last week in November and the month of December!
If you've been waiting to come see her, book your appointments now!  She will be available Tuesday and Thursday nights from 4:30 - 9 pm.

CORALEE'S PRODUCT PICK:
Well I am pretty new to the Surface family so I am still trying to find out which is my favourite of the products that line our shelves.  As long as I can remember, my hair has always been dry.  Then you add in hi-lites and a summer of golfing in the sun and wind and your hair pays the price.  Taking some time to deep condition and add moisture back to my hair is a must for me.  If you get the chance to come into the salon and get a hydrating treatmenet done, I would highly recommend it!  But you can also manage to do it yourself at home.  After you wash your hair, try adding the SURFACE BASSU HYDRATING MASQUE, (it also comes in sample sizes to try) and apply a nice amount to  your hair, and especially your ends.  Wrap your hair in a plastic shower cap and sit under a dryer.  I have my mothers' old portable dryer which still works like a charm.  You can also use a hand held hairdryer to heat up your hair that is covered by the shower cap. Once it is sufficiently warm, wrap a towel around your head, over the shower cap, to keep in the hear to allow your hair optimal absorption.  Let sit for at least 20 minutes and rinse off with cool water.  My hair always feels so much softer after just one treamtment.  I also like to add hair oil, especially to my ends and a little to the rest of my hair, to add some added shine as well.  The SURFACE BASSU HYDRATING OIL is great for this and it smells amazing too!
