![]() June. The month where all the children are winding up their school work for the year and anticipating the summer months where there is no schedule and they can sleep in! (Never happened for me as a young girl. My mom thought 8am was sleeping in! Good thing my internal clock agreed with her and often, I was awake long before that!) Classic Impressions sends out a HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Keeleigh & Dylan on the arrival of their baby girl, Aeries (pronounce Air-ez) Kayde! She made her debut on May 4 and she is a little sister for Slade! She is grandchild #4 for me and I couldn’t be happier! She is a doll! ![]() And then, CONGRATULATIONS to Sandra, our wonderful front desk lady, who also became a grandma in May! Autumn Ray was born to Sandra & Dale’s son, Justin and wife Fern, on May 17! Autumn is the sweetest, tiniest peanut and I’m sure she will provide much joy and treasured times with her grandma! Grandchild #1 for Sandra! And so it begins – the life of a grandma! The best time of our lives! Coming up at the beginning of June, our very own Anja Taranenko is heading off to Edmonton to compete in the Hairstyling Skills competition at a National level. We are so proud of her and wish her well! We will keep you informed of how she does! GO GO CLASSIC GIRL!!!!! Well, grad month is here and with it comes times of excitement! Hair and makeup appointments have been made, dresses and suits have been bought, pictures have been taken. Now to wait for the big day! We, at Classic Impressions, always feel honored when we can be a part of that special day! Enjoy your last few days of school, Grads! CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU ALL! Our stylist product pick and hair tip this month, come from Kelly: Product: “My ‘go-to’ product year round is the Surface Bassu Hydrating Oil. By adding a bit to the ends of your hair, wet or dry, it adds shine, seals your color, and moisturizes. Use before you style, or after to complete your look. And remember, a little goes a LONG way with the Bassu Oil!" Stylists Hair Tip: “Adding soft, simple texture to the hair is such a time-saver for me. Using my flat iron or curling iron to create a subtle wave lets me have the versatility for something during the day or at night. Whether you’re using a flat iron or curling iron, make sure you’re not getting in too many rotations (that will create more of a curl than a wave), and that you leave the ends out. Finish it off by running your hands through your curls with some Bassu Oil, and you’ve got a subtle, textured look!” And so, another month is behind us as we anticipate all the summer days to enjoy! Please stop in to visit us and let us share in your days with you! We love having you walk through our doors and bring the sunshine in with you! With much LOVE, Connie for Classic Impressions Salon
